Hairdresser- Cheap and Cheerful or Smart and Fancy?

Which is your salon?
I have just had a cut and blow dry at my local hairdressers and thinking how pleased I am with the cut. Shoulder length, bluntish cut, she took time to scalp massage and put in beach waves. I have been going to the same stylist for 3 or 4 years- she totally "gets" my hair- total cost ( including conditioning treatment, scalp massage - and coffee and biscuits) was £25.
I took an hour and 15 minutes.
The salon is a "Unisex", small town run of the mill salon, but I am always delighted with the result.
When I lived in the city and had more cash to spare I would easily pay £130 for same treatment- I was usually happy then too.
Tell me about your hairdresser- pricey? Run of the mill/ And how happy are you with the result?

Cheap and cheerful. £25 for a cut and blowdry. Salon isn't the greatest but I love my hairdresser. He's cut my hair for around 10 years, started out as a junior in a high street salon and then left to go on his own. I've followed him around various salons over the years as I trust him implicitly. I have a feeling he doesn't charge me as much as some of his newer clients 😁
