The best gentle products money not an issue

Hi all,

My beautiful young dd is starting with a few spots and the hormonal sheen. Her skin will be sensitive as she’s still so young. Can anyone recommend any products that are very gentle yet effective. Also easy to use would be good. I’m prepared to pay for the best because I want quality for her young skin, so money not an issue for this. Preferably a cleaner or I’m loath to say it but wipes? And a moisturiser would be good.

thanks

I find the oat milk Cleanser from Inky List very mild. It doesn't have any active ingredients that will help with breakouts though, it's just a Cleanser. For that you need to look at salicylic acid, cerave do a good fragrance free one.

I like La Roche Posay as a brand, they do great Cleanser and moisturisers which are sensitive - they have a range for this

As a teenager I loved Liz Earle - not the cheapest, but the skincare sets came with everything I needed and I used to love the hot cloth cleanser and the moisturisers! (I don't use it anymore as I've had to incorporate a lot of retinols etc into my routine now) 😊

Facetheory is very good and not that expensive given the ingredients. Eg their C2 cleanser.

Not wipes.

Liz Earle is heavily fragranced

I would try something like cerave or cetaphil.

REN evercalm cleansing milk is gorgeous, it's a cream you massage into dry skin then wash off with a flannel / water. Or Avene do a gorgeous really gentle face wash.

Much better than the Clearasil bright blue liquid I was given by my mum!

La Roche Posay effaclar duo is often recommended by professionals for teenage skin.

If you can get her into the habit of using a sunscreen too she'll thank you in 20 years time.

Simple do a Moisturising face wash that is really good. I've been using it for years. It's mild, unscented and doesn't strip the oil from your face, but does make it feel clean without that horrible tight dry feeling. It's not expensive at all, but it is really good for daily face washing.
