Are 'glamorous' chandelier earrings okay for a wedding?

I've got gold glitzy chandelier earrings, which go well with my outfit (a jumpsuit). I'm also wearing a gold bracelet and gold necklace. I was happy with them, but then I googled 'are chandelier earrings okay for a wedding?' and there are articles that say guests shouldn't wear 'glamorous' earrings and they should wear 'modest' earrings, like studs for example. Are my chandelier earrings a bit too 'party/night out' for a wedding?

Love your earrings, who are they by?

Thanks!

Your whole outfit sounds fab OP. agree to ditching the necklace, not because it’s a wedding but I think the earrings themselves are stunning and stand out. Have fun!

I agree with everyone else. No necklace but yes to earrings and hair slide. I also think black will be fine especially at this time of year. I’m sure they’ll be plenty of people in dark, jewel colours and people tend to be more dressy for winter weddings.

Don’t you know how detested fascinators are on here, OP? 😆 (And rightly, they’re never not hideous)

A hair slide would be good, and modern.

Ohh really? I was going to wear a long statement necklace as well. Do you think no necklace at all?

I’d do either necklace or earrings not both. But that’s just me, I’m a bit of a less is more kinda gal
