Take my money! Beautiful party clothes where are you?

I’ve always loved putting an outfit together, I’ve got a better awareness as I’ve got older of clothes that suits my body shape, colouring and style. I like to think I polish up well and love dressing up especially over the festive season. I am however absolutely fed up shopping (online) for beautiful going out clothes that aren’t cheap & tacky vs old fashioned/boring/safe. I’m trying to spend money and there is nothing that I love! Not sure if it’s my age (mid forties) but feel there’s nothing that appeals to women like me.
I’ve got more disposable income than my twenties, happy to spend, usually love REISS. Fond of a one shoulder, no prints/patterns or black tops- metallics/ red suit me. I’m size 8/10 5’8”. Any suggestions for good party wear that I’ll fall in love with?

I’m a little obsessed with this brand. She designs her own prints aswell as the clothes

Just rented this for Christmas party www.hurrcollective.com/listings/the-camille-dress-89554

I love this, there is an amazing Saloni dress in Liberty I’m lusting over

I think those Self Portrait dresses look brilliant - I wish I was going to a party so I had an excuse to buy one!

If you've got loads of money, what about a Vampire's wife dress? They're my dream evening dress.

Have you looked at Me & Em? what about this dress? Lots of choices there. I'd probably buy something from there if I was going to a party. (I tend to go to Warehouse for sequiny dresses that I don't wear very often)

Apricot

@SparklyMistleToes absolutely love those two dresses and will definitely look at Solace when I’m buying for a big event. They’re a bit too much for what I’m looking for at Christmas, more dinner & drinks than black tie event.
@beAsensible1 go black & white, that’s an amazing dress.
@EmmaStone some beautiful dresses there! Love the look but not on me, I prefer more fitted, self coloured dresses.

Thanks for all your posts, some brands I’ll definitely be adding to my search list for future purchases. Sorry if I’ve missed replying, some beautiful full lengths gowns being linked to, all are gorgeous but a bit too much for dinner & drinks out.

Some poster suggested Ralph Lauren and there’s a contender there :

I’ve also found a Lauren - Ralph Lauren from a few years ago which is perfect and exactly what I’m looking for. Sod’s Law for me, always wanting something I can’t have. (Gold dress picture)

Mint velvet also suggested, there’s a top there that I’m liking so may order. (Green top)

(Don’t judge) 🙈🙈 but also purchased a dress from Shein which ticks a lot of boxes for me.
