Soft shoes for toddlers with big feet

I want some more soft soled shoes (like Robeez) for my son to wear as slippers round the house. But he has quite big feet so needs 'age 2-3' size or about size 6. Robeez do a limited range for this sort of size but a) the designs are really boring and b) they're really expensive - £19 + postage. When he was smaller I got lovely ones from Snugglefeet for a mere £9.50 including delivery. But they don't do any bigger sizes.

Does anyone know anywhere else that does soft soled shoes for older toddlers and at a reasonable price?

i dont, but my dd has big feet so shoes are always a bit of an issue. Around the house she just wears those GAP socks with the grippers on the bottom.

Inch Blue do bigger sizes - see here Designs are v.cute but just as expensive as Robeez I'm afraid! Though I thinking of them as both ds's can get the wear out of them. He will get a lot of wear out of them, though as they last longer/wide range of sizes than normal outdoor shoes. DS1 has only just outgrown 18-24 shoo-shoos and he's 4!
Also - the Celtic sheepskin co. does gorgeous slippers for kids if you want something warmer. Still £19 tho.

DS also has quite big feet ! He's 16 months, and in a size 6 ! I tried everywhere for soft soled (reasonable) soft shoes, and I have a few recommendations....

  • Gap socks with grips on are good as an alternative
  • Converse trainers are quite soft, and they start from really small. They're about £17 a pair
  • ASDA - my new found favourite ! I got DS a pair of brown and blue soft sold shoes with elastic across the top for £6 (full price - not in the sale).
Incidentally, they have great kids blue and red wellies for £2.75 !! Absolute bargain.
  • One other is 'Pumpkin Patch' the website is not great, but they have alot more stuff in-store. Again, a pair of soft soled shoes will cost you between £12 and £20 but they have good sizes.

Hope this helps !
