Body Shop discontinued items: woe!

Total horror here as we have found out the the Body Shop has discontinued its mineral and ginger warming clay mask product. We are utterly bereft. It was a fantastic product and also unique.

Does anyone know of any other products that have that all-important warming factor, please? (The other Body Shop masks don't cut it.)

I'm sad that the wonky carrot moisturiser has gone south, too. If anyone from the shop is reading this, please take it as a pleas for help!

There’s an utterly gorgeous eyeshadow they discontinued years ago. I bought up all of the ones I could find on eBay. I’m now down to my last one and absolutely gutted that I’ll never find the same one again. Get yourself on every international eBay site. Also, they don’t always discontinue the product globally, and so call around.

They stopped doing the all in one instablur, nothing similar elsewhere either I think.

I also mourn this.

I loved the vanilla chai Christmas range about 6 years ago. Wish they’d bring that back!

I liked honey water it was a toner way back in the 90s. Yes still hold a grudge all these years later.

I loved the passionfruit cleanser and had a huge bottle. I loved that so much. Really miss the Barbara Daly foundation too.

Thanks but the discontinued one was like a foundation. The one with a similar name is a primer.

The Body Shop has been shit in my eyes for a while now.
It reached new lows recently by selling a product with silicones in.
Their beautifying oil was discontinued and I'm so sad. It was very, very good and with no silicones or petro chems.
I've been angry at them ever since they've produced body butters that smell like candles, things like spiced apple or gingerbread.

I am desperate for the warming mask, I used it for years.

Why are they hiding it?

Not Body Shop, but my skin is in mourning for Simple vital vitamin foaming cleanser. I've used it for years. None of their other face washes are half as good for my sensitive skin and they don't last nearly as long, either. I tried the Body Shop aloe foaming cleanser but it brought me out in spots.

I haven't properly shopped there in years other than requested gifts or the odd thing when they send their £5 birthday voucher. The quality of the shower gels and body butters is very average, and yet so expensive.

I do miss the Brazil nut body butter they did years and years ago, and I did recently find and use up a bottle of Tahitian Tiare oil in gel shower/bath gel which smelled gorgeous- thought I'd make a return to the fold and buy one but it's discontinued, as is the fig perfume and the Tiare perfume, both of which smelled lovely.

I loved the Brazil Nut shower gel, gutted the whole range went.

The Tea Tree Oil cream face wash.

I like their Love and Plums body butter, it's so thick!

@HettieHelvetica Ah right! I have to say that, disappointingly, I have binned the small tin as I found it incredibly drying which goes against all of the reviews I've read! I've gone back to Clinique Take the Day Off balm. Mind you I seem to have really itchy and dry skin all over at the moment so I'm on the hunt for soothing, cooling body cream.

The Drops of Youth range has just changed it's name to Edelweiss

Hmm, I was told this instore when wanting the Drops of Youth night cream. Sadly I don't believe it is the same at all, the Edelweiss is quite cloying on my skin and my pores aren't liking it, doesn't feel the same to me 😢

@Itsallyellow22 Can you get to an Outlet store at all? I think I saw some of the Drops of Youth products in ours yesterday (Ashford in Kent) so it might be worth a call to your nearest one.

I like this one too. Or try 7th Heaven - they have a self0heating range that are all lovely. Try their bubble mask for a change!!!

The other trick to just try is to google the range, or try eBay / Amazon. They discontinued my favourite hair oil, but I discovered that Body Shop India still have it - so I can actually buy it from India on eBay and cheaper than I was paying in the UK even despite postage!

Nor me. I emailed them to ask them to bring it back and they said they do keep track of all the requests so make sure you contact them!
