ANYONE TRIED A WAIST CINCHER?

wondered if they worked?

I have several
I have a rego one which is very good however to avoid the fat roll between the bottom of your bra and the top of the cincher save yourself the hassle and by an esbelt vest which eliminates the roll, I have this and ADORE it
I have a podgy tummy but am otherwise slim, so tis a godsend as currently cannot exercise due to severe SPD (postnatal) apparently allegedly the esbelt helps give you a better shape while you wear it...

DOn't have a waist cincher as such, but do have a full on corset...like this www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product_id=VOL-V4000U&mci=&size=&colour=&image=pcm_vol-v4000u_black
is absolutely brilliant, but not really the kind of thing i'd wear every day. Once it's done up properly, you may have lost 3 inches of your waist, but bending over becomes something of a challenge! I come over all 19th century in my deportment!

I must admit I've been considering a more flexible waist cincher, so will watch replies to this with interest...

the esbelt is rubbery outer and you can wear all day, it is super comfy and makes you sit up straighter too,
I really really recommend it

hoarsewhisperer · 30/01/2008 13:59

thanks piffle - where did you buy it? DOn't have ebay as at work and its a restricted site

Lubyloo · 30/01/2008 14:04

Hoarsewhisperer - really want to see the corset you recommend but the link's not working. Please can you try and link again. Thank you

Piffle · 30/01/2008 14:05

i bought off that ebay link tis tenner cheaper than elsewhere

hoarsewhisperer · 30/01/2008 15:09

sorry Luby

hope this works

www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product_id=VOL-V4000U&mci=&size=&colour=&image=pcm_vol-v4000u_black

otherwise if this doesn't work look on figleaves and type in Vollers corset on the search bar....

Lubyloo · 30/01/2008 15:45

Thanks hoarsewhisperer - looks fab but at the price! I think it may just squidge my tummy fat out at the bottom though.

hoarsewhisperer · 30/01/2008 15:59

you have to "arrange" your flab inside so that half goes up and half goes down iyswim...

is expensive I know , but have had it for 3 years now and it's so well made it'll probably be still in service when I'm ancient(er)...

Piffle · 30/01/2008 16:37

on the figleaves reviews there is a man who uses the voller corset
it looks GORGEOUS

widgypog · 30/01/2008 18:41

i think I would have the same problem with that corset -horse. I have bought one off ebay to see how i go..will let you know!!!!
