Perimenopausal hotness - what do you wear?

Am perimenopausal and get hot (& bothered!) easily. I love all the chunky oversized jumpers & cardigans around but even touching most of them in the shop makes me feel hot!
I’ve always found wool & other materials that are made to look like wool & now I’m even worse as start to feel warm and just want to rip it off which makes me grumpy!😩
What do other people buy in winter? I went to Zara and saw some lovely jumpers & cardis that I would love to be able to wear but I know they will just irritate me.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Am on the Tube now and dying. Despite wearing cotton next to the skin. London is v warm this year?

I don’t know if I am peri or if it’s due to medication I’m taking but recently I am always hot, and get very red (not even rosy) cheeks!
I can’t wear long sleeves, they’ve always irritated me, so I wear short sleeved cotton T-shirts, have found some in Next. And then usually a thin cardigan over the top so I can pull the sleeves up or take it off when I’m too hot.

All this talk of “I’m Autumn colouring” or “I’m summer” what does this mean? And how do I know what I am?

Yes and there seems to be residual heat from the summer, I notice it especially on the Victoria line.

lljkk I didn't get hot flushes during peri (have always been a cold person), it was deffo a menopause phenomenon. Hrt eliminated the flushes but I'm rarely cold, it's my new superpower.

Penney's.. in lreland..have brought out a whole range targeted at this now. I have no idea if Penneys are in the UK but definitely an option for lrish women. Not online l'm afraid.
