Help me find a dress like this

For my brother's wedding in June:

This is usually my best colour and I need a shape that hides the diastasis recti tummy (I permanently look 6 months pregnant) but am otherwise a size 8.

Has anyone come across anything like this?

The one you posted is only £22 in the sale and it’s available in a size 8. I’d snap it up! It’s lovely.

It's a lovely dress. Any reason why you can't just buy that one? Also, there are loads of things you can do to fix diastasis so don't just put up with it.

Why don't you buy that one it's lovely

Can you wear a body shaper?

Unfortunately once you click on Size 8 it says that it is sold out 😭. Perhaps I should order Size 10 to try but I don't think it will sit right.

What can I do to fix the diastasis? I've been doing physio exercises, doing the Mutu method (albeit not extremely consistently) and it's really making no difference unfortunately.

I'm afraid you need to do them totally consistently to get results. And if you aren't doing them right you'll make it worse. You need to use your hands to encourage the muscles back together while doing the exercises. I'd encourage you to work with a specialist personal trainer in post natal. Most physios and PTs aren't specifically trained in this so give generic core exercises.

@Sausagedoggy would consistently mean every day? I also feel like any benefit I get from the exercises gets offset by lifting the baby constantly, carrying things, pushing the pushchair and also running probably. So I just about manage to keep it as it is, it's not getting worse but it's also not getting better.

I've seen a couple of postnatal physios who have given me some exercises and made sure I am doing them right, I'm not sure where to turn now.

I sort of don't care that much about how it looks, I'm more worried about how it changes how my body works. I'm getting more bloatedness, more back pain, and more pelvic pressure. I'm worried I'll get a prolapse, if I don't already have one. My core is so weak I struggle to open jars also sometimes!

Good job my DC are so cute, never mind the ruined body :D
