Such a bad shopper- can’t decide

I’m a dreadful shopper. I saw a lovely coat last year in the shop, swivered, ordered it, returned it the then went back and bought it.

I bought this dress, returned it, ordered it via their concierge service and have the label to return it printed out. And yet…

Make my mind up for me lovely stylers…

I personally wasn’t keen on the previous one.

Trying to think offhand, Jigsaw, Anthropomorphie, maybe Kitri, Oliver Bonas can have nice dresses. And rummage in vintage shops. They may well have something and if too big it could be taken in.

I don't like any, sorry! But I am quite hard to please. Are there any non-pink ones?:)

😂
mid the monsoon one red and pink does up I’ll keep them all. The other two were under £40 so good shopping. The spotty one has a collar, hidden by my hand so not really dressy.

So did I - think I still have it somewhere!

Could you sell it to OP?

Etinoxaurus · 06/07/2023 21:57

If the monsoon one doesn’t do up that should say ⬆️

I don't like pink and red together, or the embroidery.

It definitely doesn’t go the colours or/and the embroidery,

BinkyBeaufort · 06/07/2023 21:55

The last one is the best.

I do like it. Not very dressy, but £39, Ghost and I look thin in it, what’s not to love

I like the first one but I think it's too big. Really dislike the monsoon one and the last one is meh.

The spotty looks nice but it would help to see it properly. 😄

You see that’s how I used to shop and quite successfully. I just don’t have the time or energy now. The trawl + Longchamps pliage weekend bag and shoes took me 20 mins on the John Lewis website.

I think the last one is the best and I envy you your figure!

Onelifeonly · 06/07/2023 22:03

I dont like any of the pink ones, flowery one looks best. To be honest, the way you are holding the phone / camera obscures your figure and the dresses so it's not that easy to judge.

There must be a knack to it taking pics of yourself, I don’t have it.
@DiscoDeborah here’s the spotty dress

@Etinoxaurus thanks! It's nice but too casual.

NiqueNique · 05/11/2022 22:21

I like the multi-coloured one much more than the navy! Much more interesting.

I like them both but the multi coloured is the nicer. Really striking dress.

BinkyBeaufort · 06/07/2023 21:55

The last one is the best.

Agreed. The Ghost one is too big and there's too much going on in the Monsoon one.

CobraChicken · 07/07/2023 06:22

The only nice one is the last one. The other 3 are awful, and considering you have the sort of figure that will bring out the best in any dress, they must be bad...

You can do vintage shopping online including eBay. My local shop calls me if she sees anything which is very me and she thinks I’ll like it.

Niftythrifter · 07/07/2023 06:57

Looks like Missoni, in which case for me, it’s a classic as I love Missoni! Missoni pops up in TK Maxx so if you like Missoni but not the financial outlay have a look at the designer ( gold) section of TK Maxx.

Are you looking at the first wool dress? I got it and wore it so much! It’s currently in a bag in the freezer- moths.
@GonnaGetGoingReturns I do get lots from eBay, including several Agnes B and Missoni dresses but for efficiency a 20 minute trawl in the John Lewis sale has got me 3 dresses and a simple swap of shoes and bag.

@GonnaGetGoingReturns Looking at the OPs amazing figure it would be too big!

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 08/07/2023 10:27

Very marmite dresses ! You have very different taste to me. I don't like high necks or long sleeves with midi dresses - but if these are what you like in a style please ignore my comments! I like the style of the monsoon dress, although the colours are not for me. Don't like the Hush one at all, and can't see the last one well enough, although it looks nice enough from what I can see.

Etinoxaurus · 08/07/2023 13:54

Thank you all! The handmaids tale one has gone back and I’m waiting for dd to come round to see whether the red and pink and embroidered one does up- it’s for a wedding in the states which gives a little bit of leeway. Not that I know what’s expected, more that it matters less than if I was mog here for eg. I’ve kept the pink spotty and blue floral one- they’re not suitable for a wedding but they’re very wearable and under £40.
Nice comments about my figure! I don’t have one 😂completely straight up and down, dresses are much more wearable- I look tubby in jeans and a T-shirt.
