A ridiculously warm jumper for home

As a menopausal woman, I usually stay away from really warm clothes. However with the cost of living etc, we're avoiding putting the heating on for long hours and the inside of my house (large old victorian) is actually colder than the outside. When I get home, if I put on one of those hooded blankets I might achieve warmth, but I also feel restricted, lazy and like all I want to do is be on the sofa. I am looking for a jumper/jacket I can wear at home that provides masses of warmth without compromising movement. I already have a fitted fleece jacket, but it's just not enough right now, so moving forward as it gets colder, it's just not going to cut it. TIA!

Yes to Turtle Doves wrist warmers! They sell their seconds on eBay for £7.99. I bought two pairs and though the colour is a lucky dip, I can't see any faults in them.

They sound great - I had a look on their website and love that they're simple with no thumb hole. Can't afford full price at the moment though.
How do I find them on eBay please? What search did you use to find them?
Thank you!

These aren't that fashion forward but are seriously warm, especially with the wristwarmers and a thermal layer underneath. www.woolovers.com/womens/jumpers?page=1&fabric=4
You can't beat a chunky pure wool hand knit, I made one last year and have enough wool for another.

I'd also maybe look at a gilet of some kind, that way your core is kept warmer but your arms aren't as restricted by thick layers.

Thank you so much Deftly - that's really kind. My wrists and I thank you! xx

Some synthetic fibers (especially mixes) are warm - it's not as simple as wool being the only thing.

Keep the back of your neck and your feet warm and you won't need as many layers on the rest of your body.

I wear long sleeve thermal tee shirts underneath teddy or Sherpa fleece sweatshirts / hoodies. I wouldn't wear woollen jumpers for every day WFH wear as I assume they don't wash and dry easily . And fleece lined joggers and slipper boots
