Hi,
I can't seem to find the perfect blusher. Everything I try just doesn't seem to work anymore! TIA.

Puff. I'm pale with blonde/brown hair.
It's a pink.

userxx · 02/11/2022 22:21

@motleymop Same colouring as me. Thank you 🙏

Hope you like it! You only need the tiniest amount.

I’m dark brown naturally but bright red at moment. Brown eyes and medium skin. Tan easily. Any recommendations appreciated here. Usually use powder blush but think a cream might be worth trying!

alwayscheery · 03/11/2022 20:19

Where is the best place to buy the cloud paint ?

Littlemiss74 · 05/11/2022 22:56

I’ve got the Stila cheek/lip cream & its a lovely colour but i do find it makes my skin look a bit too shiny after a while, not sure if I’m applying it wrong..?

Dogsgottabone · 06/11/2022 07:06

@Littlemiss74 i literally lightly rub a finger across the Stila and then do little dabs across my cheek bones and then blend them in. Never looked shiny!

Dr Paw Paw Peach Pink Balm for lips and cheeks!

A tinted multi-use balm.
It’s the same great balm, just with a tint! The Dr.PAWPAW Balm features all the benefits of the Original Balm that keeps your skin in check. Enriched with fermented pawpaw from the carica papaya plant, aloe vera and olive oil this buildable, tinted balm has powerful healing qualities which transform your skin. The delicate coral tint of this balm makes it perfect for use on lips and cheeks for a natural, subtle finish.

Maybelline in the tube.

Like Glossier, but cheaper.

DontSuitAJumpsuit · 06/11/2022 07:56

Going against the grain, I bought glossier cloud paint after a similar thread about 6 months ago, and I've been quite disappointed. I find it a faff to put on and blend, it doesn't last and it doesn't look natural. It doesn't work for me! I'm still on the search for the perfect blusher.

DontSuitAJumpsuit · 06/11/2022 07:57

There is a glossier shop in Covent Garden where you could try it - not sure if there are others.

Hoolihan · 06/11/2022 08:02

I use Milk Makeup cheek & lips in the colour 'Werk'. It's absolutely brilliant for older skin as it's a cream formula with a very slight sheen, applies straight from the stick, blends so easily and lasts forever. They do lots of colours and mini versions too.

FanniesFlaps · 06/11/2022 08:03

If you blush naturally look at the shade and where you blush as a guide for what to buy and where to apply it.

Zippedydoo123 · 06/11/2022 08:05

W7 on Ebay. I think I use rose. Cheap as chips and lasts forever.

I am 59 soon and it looks good on me. The lid often breaks but you can keep it on the window sill or in the bathroom cabinet.

Magelica · 06/11/2022 08:11

I like Hourglass cream blush: Sacred is a peachy coral-ly pink that really lifts my very pale cool-toned complexion, and Devoted is a slightly browner pink which is so natural that it's almost invisible. But in a good way.

And YY to applying it differently; I used to do the classic 90s Bobbi Brown 'apples of your cheeks' blush but now it's got to be along my cheekbone and higher up.

Nars liquid. But I Also use a tinted moisturizer and liquid foundation these days. Lisa Eldridge make up artist has some good advice on YouTube

cicatrix1 · 06/11/2022 12:07

Yeah I was going to say the same, my tube is sitting pretty much unused. I don't find it faffy but I just don't get the hype, it wears off quickly and the colour isn't that great.

ItwasinJeremyHuntsoffice · 06/11/2022 12:38

Probably gonna get abuse from skincare lovers but sometimes I use my lipstick for that day as a bit of blush.

Luckingfovely · 06/11/2022 12:47

I love the Benefit liquid colours, Benetint for winter and ChaChaTint for summer.

Yesterday I bought PlayTint for a treat to see how it is.

They also work really well on lips.

Livpool · 06/11/2022 14:00

The Revolution liquid blushes are nice and have a good selection of colours

wwyd2021medicine · 06/11/2022 14:04

The Barry M fresh face is a dupe of glossier. About £5. Summer rose is a good pink

WhereAreWeNow · 06/11/2022 16:40

Agree @wwyd2021medicine . I like my Barry M one as much as my Glossier cloud paint. I can't tell them apart.
