Hair treatment

My DD’s hair is pretty damaged, combination of her being unwell recently, heat, colour.
What is the best way to treat the damage please? I’ve been looking at Olaplex but don’t know if it’s the right thing.

For reference, she had long dark hair with blonde/caramel highlights. Tends to be prone to frizz although she does use the John Frieda range.

Elasticizer? Often on offer at M&S.

Tbh, you need to take her to a hairstylist for a consultation. A strand test will sort out if she needs protein, moisture or a combination of both. A good cut is probably needed as well to see the full benefits. If treatments are used in correctly or the wrong type you won't see the results that you're expecting. And, will essentially waste your money. Hope that helps

I’d not thought about elasticizer, thanks @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie. I think I’ve a tube/small tub somewhere.

Ah ok @CluelessandConcerned, I’ll ring the salon and arrange for her to pop in for a strand test. She has had a cut a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the heads up 😊

No worries at all. I'm in the industry myself. A stretch test and some solid hair care advice will make all the difference. There's also no pressure or shouldn't be to buy from the salon. Go with questions in mind as well, write them down if you need to. Because, something always get forgotten. Good luck
