What are your top hair tools for wavy hair?

My hair can look nice, if I go to a hairdressers and get a blow dry or spend an hour straightening it. It's below shoulder length, and the worst bit is around the hair line - loads of wispy baby hair that goes into these weird waves/curl! If I have a fringe cut it hides this but as soon as it grows out it goes wild again. What are you top taming tools?

I can't afford Dyson anything! I saw GHD have a stylising brush... it looks pretty good but wonder if it won't be able to take the baby hair. I have baby kiss straighteners and am wondering if I should upgrade... I like the wave in my hair but I can't stand the front area. I hope this makes sense. Anyone who's been able to tame their wavy hair please share your tools, products and must haves. Thank you!

Disclaimer - if I spend an hour straightening my hair and go out in the winter it's back to look like a bird's nest in half an hour!

GDH straightening brush to deal with the front baby hairs for me. Also not letting it get too dry at the front before I blow dry it.

I find no tools but decent shampoo and conditioner work best

Following with same issue!
Which shampoo and conditioner?

Conditioning shampoo (I currently use Elvibe hyalaronic) followed by any good conditioning mask left on for at least ten minutes then rinsed off, left to dry in turban or air dry til almost dry, tresemme heat protect spray and 7 day smooth lotion applied to sections that I then dry with a Revlon one step brush. Usually I use straighteners to smooth and wave it the next day because I think it holds better then. Bit of extraordinary oil on the ends and any sticking up bits.

I only have to wash my hair once a week, otherwise I would find this too much of a faff!

The L'Oréal steam pod is a great hair straighteners. Pricey though. It keeps hair looking straighter in humid weather than ghds

Have you tried embracing the waves? Try the curly girl method on all your hair & you might be surprised.

Some of the best products for wavy hair are a diffuser for defined waves, a wide-tooth comb for delicate detangling, a flexible curling wand, a microfiber towel to lessen frizz, and claw clips for easy style. Curly hair extensions are great for adding length and volume because they mix perfectly with wavy hair. Aim for Black Friday deals as you purchase these tools and add-ons. This annual event is the ideal way to economically upgrade your wavy hairdo because it frequently offers low pricing on high-quality hair tools and extensions.

I find drying it with the Revlon One Step keeps it smooth. Lots of leave in conditioner.

Umberto Giannini defrizz cream on wet hair.

For the fringe I rough dry it. Then I curl the rest in a low bun and let it dry naturally.

When It's dry I style the fringe. For that I use a vented blow dry brush and a hair dryer. Pop it in a low bun again, voila. On about day 3 I wear it down in a half up down bun.
