Switch from waxing to shaving.

I've been waxing for about 5 years and haven't been excited with the results. Smooth lasts about 1.5 weeks instead of 4 weeks, which I prefer.
But my hair feels like it is still growing too fast to justify my price and pain.

I’m thinking of switching back to shaving. Has anyone switched back to shaving after a while? Do "men's" razors still provide the best shave? Can you recommend a good shave cream for sensitive skin?

Have you tried an epilator? I still get my legs waxed occasionally ( to get the strays the back) but in between use a cheap epilator that I bought in lock down when salons were closed.
It really is alot better than shaving.

I bought one once and it hurt like hell. I used it once or twice, and I just couldn’t! It broke most of my hair at the root instead of pulling it out, but I was probably not using it correctly.

If you afford one an IPL machine is a game changer.

I've used IPL with great results for about 5 years. Epilator gave me terrible ingrown hairs

You'll probably find if you've been waxing so long an epilator won't hurt as much now as the roots get finer and you're used to the hair being pulled out.

Over the years I have gone to and fro from waxing to shaving and back again. I prefer the waxed finish but I sometimes become inpatient with allowing time for the regrowth. When shaving I go for the Venus Raspberry razor and I find that shaving with a good quality hair conditioner works far better than any shaving cream or other products.

Veet Pure Inspiration or similar is your other non-electronic option but if you go down this route, do the spot test first.

Investing in high quality laser was the best thing I've ever done for my body. Been hairfree for 2 years now
