Help me find a full length dress less than £100

Just that really. I need a full length dress for nye, size 16 petite length preferably. I don't want anything floaty, much prefer quite structured. Don't like the top of my arms so something with short sleeves would be good. I am 34gg so can't do off the shoulder as strapless bras really don't cut it for me. Solid colour, black, navy, green etc. Any ideas please? Think I've left it too late 😏

@Defiantlynot41 I really like that but I'd need loads chopping off it and I 'd lose the fishtail I think. I might order it though to see if I could move it up

I got a nice long dress recently from Roman cloth ing online, wine coloured, they also had some velvet ones in lovely colours, reasonable price, mine was £40.00.

Rent something from My Wardrobe HQ. I've just rented a dress for £7 a night that costs £225 in Jigsaw full price. They've got some beautiful things on there.

I second Vinted, I got a full length Ted Baker formal dress for £45.

The biggest budget selection I've seen so far this year is Roman. Quiz usually have a good range of maxi dresses, but there's not much available at the moment. Karen Millen prices have come down, with an accompanying drop in quality.

Not many stores do a petite evening dress range. You may be limiting yourself in this respect. It might be better to just have the length reduced. Dry-cleaners are often cheaper than a seamstress for basic alterations.

@CinnamonJellyBeans the issue with a petite fitting isn't just the overall length though - the waist and hips can be too low. It's a real pain. My sil keeps telling me Roman but it all looks a bit old fashioned to me
