Hair mousse?

Dear fellow mumsnetters, I have a hair problem (again!). I had my hair cut shortish, but not too short. The last time it was definitely too short and you advised to use American Crew which worked beautifully.
The intention now is for my hair to look like the one in the picture provided (it is not me, I wish!) and it does look like that...when I get out of the hairdresser.
When I wash it myself it has no bounce whatsoever until 3 days after washing, when it looks amazing...
Any suggestions for a mousse/foam/product that does the trick from day 1?

Hair mousse?

I'm no help but I love that hair cut. Back when I had short hair I used John Frieda curl cream but it's not made anymore. I think you need a, product that stays soft and flexible.

Maybe l'oréal remix or out of bed?

What does your hairdresser use? Get that or something similar.

I like the Hersheson foam. Gives body to my shortish, fine hair.

It looks amazing on day 3 because it's dirty and oily from natural oils. To mimic that from day 1 you need a hair oil + hair spray when happy with the style to make it stick Wink

I use and strongly recommend Kerastase Elixir Gold (when wet) or Rose (dried hair)

Yes, the is what the hairdresser recommends...I do put the oil she used ( and sold me withogiving me the name) when wet and then Nioxin hairspray....but no joy!
So, I was wondering if you had any helpful advice....

And yes, it is a great haircut as it does not need any hairdryer styling (I have shoulder problems and cannot really hold a brush!)
