Gulp (whispers, how much are GHD's then?) I had considered a pair as told they were the most excellent straighteners. May have to rethink

scorpio1 · 27/01/2008 13:33

my GHD's were £120 and they are brilliant. Have never tried the babylisso nes, will stick with my GHD's!

gingerninja · 27/01/2008 13:36

OH MY FING GOD? £120? I could buy a new head of hair for that. Might leave it then.

expatinscotland · 27/01/2008 13:37

I had some and no, they weren't as good as GHDs. Sorry.

nappyaddict · 27/01/2008 13:39

you can get them for just under £100. expat were yours the bronze ones? with the nano-titanium plates?

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 27/01/2008 13:40

mine were that much because i got the wide-plate ones for my massive hair!

expatinscotland · 27/01/2008 13:40

mine are 5 years old. they're the old style ones, still going strong.

i couldn't afford to buy them now - i was working full-time then and didn't have kids!

nappyaddict · 27/01/2008 13:54

no i mean the babyliss ones ... they are only came out about a year ago didn't they?

On other threads about straighteners, people have really rated the Babyliss ones and have said they're as good as (some have said better) than GHD's.

Pannacotta · 29/01/2008 17:59

These (Babyliss) got a really good rating in a weekend paper I read, as good as the GHDs.
