HELP where can I buy 'bra sized' swimwear that doesn't cost a fortune or make me look like a granny?

I need something that covers my flabby belly but all the tummy control swimwear I've seen is done by dress size and they don't provide enough coverage for my norks . I don't want something that's just plain black or navy either but I can't find anything else. Have looked at Bravissimo, M&S, Debenhams and Figleaves. Anyone know anywhere else?

Meant to add I don't want to pay too much as it's just for a weekend away and probably won't get used again.

I have had a few in the past from M&S, reasonably priced and not too old lady, but agree atm the choice is abysmal.

John Lewis also have swimwear by cup size, but I have looked on their website and there are none currently. Maybe not such a good time to be looking for swimwear.

Got my two D cup swimming costumes from a market stall that did seconds of bras and underwear. Had to go and try it on in a nearby public WC but was worth it for something like £8 each.

next are doing it in their catalogue

nappymadmummy · 27/01/2008 17:20

Oh thanks everyone. Have had a look at next and there's a couple of bikini's I like but don't think they'll look v good with my belly

Cup size: one side is an E and the other an F so I generally have to go for an F.

Would prefer a swimming costume, with a bit of a pettern but not too bright (so more neutral/pastel shades).

Budget wise, as cheap as possible because I'm only going to wear it a couple of times tbh. I think that's maybe what's putting me off the stff at Bravissimo, it seems a lot to pay out for something I won't use very much.

I thought about this this weekend

Oh I like that first link TMMJ

Will have a look at brastop.com and if there's nothing i prefer there, I'll have a look at bhs, then probably go with the M&S one
