I used to use an Aveda one many moons ago but it’s been discontinued. Since then, I’ve never been able to find one I’ve liked. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you!

There's no such thing as product build up hahaha.

Think about it- whenyou do the washing up do you find you have to stop using Fairy after a few months because it's stopped getting the dishes clean.

It's made up crap.

T gel for oily hair works well I find. Really clarifying

Aveeno apple cider vinegar shampoo is brilliant! Hair feels so light and squeaky clean and it’s on sale in boots right now

I used Australian Body Care tea tree shampoo. The aqua bottle has more TTO than the patterned one.

I use Johnson's baby shampoo. Really cheap and my hair feels lighter after I've used it. Don't use too often though as it's quite drying

Bumble and bumble sunday shampoo - every 4-6 weeks

Are you bald?

Because product build up on hair is definitely a thing. Anyone who uses thickening products, volumising products, shampoo with silicones etc. etc. will notice it. Hair just gets lank after a while. .

OP, I use plain old Vosene (think it costs £1) once a month or so and my hair is so swishy afterwards.

It's in your head.

If you want to believe it, it doesn't affect me if you want to spend extra on special products, was just trying to help OP.

I love Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil clarifying shampoo. It's sulphate free.

RealDeeBliss · 13/10/2022 13:59

Recently tried Aveda Shampure bar and liked it for a really good clean. My hairdresser recommended using it only once or twice per week as it's too stripping for every day.

Where would we be without the Style and Beauty truthers.

princessbear80 · 13/10/2022 16:51

I was also going to say Noughty detox shampoo.

Luxecalmeetvolupte · 13/10/2022 16:57

If you're a Beauty Pie member the Detox Shampoo does this really well. I live in an area with very hard water and use it once a week or so.

In fact this thread just reminded me to buy some. It’s £2 off in Boots at the moment.

Do you have the same hair as all of us? Do you use the same products as all of us? Is your hair high porosity or low porosity? Are you by any chance white?
