NC.

36yo F. Really noticing the lines now!
Would you get Botox for these yet?

Or should I learn to accept them?

@anonbelle I do actually wear SPF 50 every single day, but I obviously should've done it more in my 20's!

@leeds2glasgow No smoking here.

@PrioritiseCalm why does it make you said?

@Meili04 I'm definitely considering Botox, but I do need to drink more water and use my moisturiser more.

Please don’t waste your time and money on worrying about a few line lines on your face. They are your war lines from living a life. Some people don’t get to earn those lines.

This thread makes me sad.

Ah, give over, what's it to you if strangers want to feel confident about how they look?

OP, I got Botox for the first time about a month ago and it's made such a difference to my 11's. Weirdly, everyone I mentioned it to said they've been getting it done for years 😆 so I was clearly way behind the times.

This is the S&B board. Do you also tell people not to bother buying clothes because we'll all be dead one day 🙄

For fab moisturiser look at medik8, fairly expensive but lasts a long time and have had great results with skin texture and brightness.
You can usually get a good deal / discount code for the feel unique website

Another vote for dermatica or skin & me, I’m also 36 and noticed more dry and small lines. I can tell the difference now I’ve been using it a while.

Do you exfoliate? You need to. With either St Ive's scrub or a Korean Italy towel, green, and a decent face wash.

Dermatica prescription for your skin.

I'd get a cheap moisturiser and an expensive one. Aldi for cheap. A specialist skincare expensive one, I use different brands. Get as fancy as you can afford.

RodiganReed · 17/10/2022 15:18

You can get it here via a prescription service such as Skin & Me or Dermatica

xogossipgirlxo · 17/10/2022 15:44

Retinol and good moisturiser will be absolutely fine for you. No need for botox.

yerdaindicatesonbends · 17/10/2022 15:49

No need for either OP. Good skincare (a daily exfoliant is life changing), plenty of water as others have said and maybe venture into facial massage.

The face massage with a gua sha can reduce the look of wrinkles almost instantly I find.

I’m also 36 op with similar skin to you. I’ve had Botox twice. It did make a lovely difference but only for 3 months before it stopped working. I can’t afford £200 every 3-4 months sadly so I think I won’t be getting it again. If I could afford it I would. I’ve just started using dermatica- it’s been a month and no obvious difference just yet but hopefully there will be soon. I think I probably need to drink more and use a better moisturiser for my dry skin

userwants2no · 17/10/2022 17:23

I agree its a skin care and drinking more water than botox.
Celebs that have used botox from a young age don't look great imo.
