Skincare advice on YouTube (UK)

I'm trying to sort a skincare regime out, my main issue is hyperpigmentation (I'm mixed race) and normal signs of aging.
I've been using skin and me for a few months and I can see my skins texture is smoother - but it's done nothing for my dark patches, so I'm searching for more specific products to help me.

I've been watching a couple of YouTube videos by Doctorly, which are great, but USA based so often the products they recommend aren't available in the UK.

Can anyone recommend any credible UK based YouTubers?

Not on YouTube but on Instagram, Dr Anjali Mahto probably is a good one who focuses on skin of colour, she also wrote a book.

Would warn against Dr Vanita Rattan, that also goes by The Hyperpigmentation Clinic. I don't know exactly what went on there but there was some sort of scandal involving deception, I think she turned out to be a pharmacist while presenting herself as a dermatologist.

I don't know what Dr Sam Bunting is up to these days but her old content was solid on YouTube (if it's still there since launching her own skincare line). There was also some questions with regards to her accreditation but she does at least practice in a dermatologist practice.

Just remember, all dermatologists on the internet that are creating a following tend to have some sort of product launch in the works. Doesn't mean their advice is bad but they do all at some point tend to switch to promoting their own products.

Not quite what you're asking I know but if you pay/subscribe to skin & me you do have access to their dermatologist/the people who prescribe your subscription ingredients and can request a reformulation in your account settings or email them and I have always found their advice really good and them to be very responsive.

Perhaps there is something they can add to your formulation or up the & of an existing ingredient to help with the pigmentation.

Can you add an azelaic acid booster to your routine? The ordinary do a serum and it's good stuff for shifting hyperpigmentation.
