Anyone want to help me find the perfect knitted dress?

I've been looking for YEARS for a fitted/bodycon, below the knee dress made from wool or a high percentage of wool and have never found one, mainly because I am rubbish at shopping and don't know where to look. Budget - under £300 - ideally way under £300 but as I've been looking for so long I'm willing to splash out on something really good quality. Ribbed with a roll neck would be great, but I'm open to any styles. Prefer dark, neutral or jewel colours.

@toomanychairs I've ordered the midi one in Burgundy and the maxi one in Scarlet :) Decided I have too much black already.

I don’t know if they’re doing one this year, as it’s too early for their winter. Keep an eye out, it truly is lovely, and just wait, their sales are good. As you can see from the price!
I couldn’t have paid the full amount but the sale was good, it really is a lovely piece

I have a very fine merino from uniqlo and it is very flattering
I also have an allsaints one in black
in the past I’ve bought from jaeger and Hobbs
my all time favourite though is navy and was from Ralph Lauren

Abi.loves.style on Insta modelled one recently, from H&M actually. Looked utterly fabulous. Worth a look? I find Insta is the best place for style inspiration.

@TheFormidableMrsC oh yes that does look great! Only 5% wool though, can't imagine it would look good for long.

I'd be going for elastane content as that is your friend for keeping it in shape

Cbeck out Lydia Elise Millen's latest vlog on Youtube - the first 20 mins or so she is trying on gorgeous fitted midi long knitted dresses. Maybe around 5-6 of them.
