Warm clothes for indoors

So as the temp is starting to drop, and energy prices going up, am realising need to get some indoors clothes to keep warm as want to put my heating on as little as possible !

Am looking at clothes but also bedding as well.

Don’t want to spend a fortune, so can’t afford cashmere , also don’t want to spend as much as a heating bills I, trying to save !

I am also a size 22, which does limit a little where buy things .

I have a fleecy zip up cheap large hoodie I bought last year . It was good, but not enough with no heating on.

Thanks in advance .

Turtle doves have seconds on ebay for anyone who doesn't care what colour they get or a small imperfection.

Forgot to say they are only £7.99

This was interesting, as much about generally keeping warm as the claims about Uniqlo's HeatTech:

What caught my eye was the bit at the end about sock-changing to keep warm. Clearly they're referring to hiking, but the principle is the same for indoors.

My friend lives in a very cold, draughty old house and swears by one of those heated waistcoats. Not especially cheap but she reckons paid for itself fast in reducing her oil/electric consumption

The Turtle Doves seconds come up pretty slim fit, just a warning!

I guess that may have been the imperfection in your pair. I couldn't find anything wrong with mine.

I bought some compression gloves and theyve made such a difference. I think they're designed to help with arthritis and reynaulds but they're doing a great job at keeping my hands warm whilst using the mouse and keyboard all day. I'm tempted to try some compression socks too.
