well, no bag is worth £675 if we're being honest, but you can say that about anything in life cant you?

I think if she cant truly afford it and not feel sick after buying it (I can afford it but definately would feel sick IYKWIM) and she loves it then why not

fishie · 24/01/2008 09:20

ooer it is suede lined, imagine a part-sucked lollipop in there.

binkleandflip · 24/01/2008 09:21

Sorry I meant CAN truly afford it

Lizzylou · 24/01/2008 09:23

I'm not keen, but I am neither a fashionista nor a handbag fanatic, so if you love it and you won't have to rob a bank to buy it, get it.

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 24/01/2008 11:55

thanks ladies I do love it and can afford it without being sick or feeling guilty for that matter but I think I will need to see it in rl to make up my mind
have emailed details to dh who is away

anna marni isn't me unfortunately

both horrible

there is a LOVELY chloe one on there though in purple

PrincessPeahead · 24/01/2008 11:57

I think it is lovely but would worry about how the "mirror leather" bit will wear. If it gets scratched etc easily, it will be depressing for you

would have to see it in the flesh and try and work out how easily it scratches

Oliveoil · 24/01/2008 11:57

sorry, thought it was the netaporter site, looks the same

Monkeytrousers · 24/01/2008 11:59

I really don't get bag fetishes. My problem, I know..

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 24/01/2008 12:04

maybe I could go in shop and scratch at shiny bit with my nails whilst hiding from shop assistant to see if it scratches a lot
or just take it outside and drag it along the pavement!

OP posts:
PrincessPeahead · 24/01/2008 12:07

I think that is fair enough!

(ps I'd do the fingernail thing. If it can't withstand a gentle scratch from a fingernail then it ISN'T going to cope with the rough and tumble of city life)

CountessDracula · 24/01/2008 12:09

it is hid

orangina · 24/01/2008 12:12

I love the cream version! (hi pph!) Don't much like the other option that was offered....

PrincessPeahead · 24/01/2008 12:13

hello oranging about to phone you to see how new nanny is doing!

the grey is gross

orangina · 24/01/2008 12:20

not much for me to report on the nanny front, dashed out to meeting at 8am, haven't set eyes on her today yet!
(Hi-jack over, sorry!)

binkleandflip · 24/01/2008 15:22

oh I thought you were buying it..but its your dh? Much more satisfaction when you buy horrendously expensive treats like this with your own money I imagine, but getting it as a gift aint too shabby either

Seasider · 24/01/2008 15:45

It is uglee. Prefer a Mulberry myself, or is that too square for you

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 24/01/2008 15:52

seasider already have whispers 2 mulberrys fancied a change

binkle I have just become a sahm so have no money of my own (aagh) so to speak even if I go and hand over my card dh will still be paying

can't believe this is still going
will go and look in shop next week and report back

Had a look at this bag today in Selfridges and I have to say it looks nicer in photo's - it looks a bit big and plain in RL - tho I still totally think you should get it if you want it

ProfessorGrammaticus · 26/01/2008 19:41

I think it would be nice in th ebrown. Just a bit unsure about the patent bit.

doesmybumlookbiginthis · 26/01/2008 19:49
