Looking for a good tweed jacket

Just this really. I would like to buy a good tweed jacket that is not too stiff and that can help in mid season. My mum had one and I had one which felt apart ( after 20 years). It looked great on everything, especially with jeans and trainers. I would like it a little but fitted but would love to insert one of those light puffy jackets Uniqlo has to make it warmer ...
Boden used to have great tweed (I bought a great coat a few years ago) but I do not seem to find it anymore.
Happy to spend on it, but it must last 20 years :)

I loves a tweed jacket. I have a fabulous and slightly tatty man's tweed jacket from M & S from a charity shop years ago. I rock it with a Vivienne Westwood brooch, and it has been much admired. I love the sound of your jacket @MuddlerInLaw and hope your life will get to perfection again, and you enjoy rocking your jacket and boots! My idea of clothes heaven is to invest in a good jacket when I have lost about 2 stone. I'm getting there, just not particularly fast! (Every month they send enthusiastic updates on all the amazing ways I can advance my working life with the app. But all I ever use it for is storing links to clothes I can’t afford. 3.am in the morning sees me lying in bed checking what’s been reduced to an aporoachable price.) If I allowed clothes on my laptop it would be a disaster …
