Good affordable cotton pyjamas?

I would love some recommendations for good quality cotton womens pyjamas. I need some new pairs for the winter. Must be 100% cotton and affordable. I bought a pair from Jigsaw last year that cost a bomb and crease horribly! And I have some pairs from the likes of Tesco and Sainsburys that go really shapeless after a couple of wears. Help!

I wear the m and s pure cotton long sleeve ones all year round, apart from in a heatwave. They’re incredibly comfortable and wash well. I don’t bother ironing them as I never notice how creased PJs are, so I can’t help with that, but I think they’re not too creasy for pure cotton. They aren’t the thickest, but I prefer to pile on the duvets and blankets if I’m cold. You can often get last season’s on eBay cheaper, but they are only £15 full price:

Cyberjammies are great

Check on asos, I got 2 really nice pairs last year

hugoagogo · 11/09/2022 07:52

Is it traditional style with a collar and buttons youre after?

I have a few pairs for cath kidston, but not their flannel as it ages quickly. For flannel bottoms i actually buy men's from Saville Row, they're good quality and usually about £15/20 a pair and last years. And I pair them with men's cotton jumpers from GAP, about £20 a pop. I've bought cotton pjs from John Lewis and they've not aged well. I have a pair from Toast, wonderful but expensive. I have some long sleeved flannel night shirts from a shop up north that have lasted years.

Primark are surprisingly good for 100% cotton pyjamas. I’ve got several and they’ve lasted years. Although I was unlucky with one pair which shrunk lengthways, but other than that they’ve been great.

I got some from here in the sale recently and they are lovely! They have maternity ones too in the same style which is great. www.night-store.co.uk/collections/organic-collection

I think M&S cotton pyjamas are unbearable value. I often size up in case they shrink (as cotton does)

DSGR · 11/09/2022 09:27

Unbeatable not unbearable!

MoonGeek · 11/09/2022 09:29

Yawn pjs are lovely

Alltheleavesarefalling · 11/09/2022 09:35

I really like the quality of Their Nibs PJs, nice designs as well, not flannel though.

Afterfire · 11/09/2022 09:36

Another vote for m and s.

Plumpcious · 11/09/2022 09:41

Uniqlo flannel pyjamas. You have to like check or tartan patterns though.

MNCar · 11/09/2022 09:46

The M&S ones have gone down in recent years though. Some of the patterns are better than other though quality wise. Really do need to feel them.

Also check they are the 100% ones not the cotton mix.

DeborahVance · 11/09/2022 20:12

TheirNibs. I've got a couple of pairs, I love them

Nearlyadoctor · 11/09/2022 20:17

Hush are excellent, I’ve got some which are 6 years old and still look like new. They also keep their shape and don’t shrink. I’ve found the trousers in both Cyberjammies and M&S shrink quite consider in length , even on a gentle wash cycle.

Nearlyadoctor · 11/09/2022 20:17

Considerably

carefullycourageous · 11/09/2022 20:22

I got nice proper pyjamas from M&S, they are great.

dizzydizzydizzy · 11/09/2022 20:25

PJ connoisseur here. Lands End - amazing quality but pricey. Look out for sales. M&S nice but don't last long in comparison. I was give a Joules pair for my birthday- they seem very good.

I have a few pairs of Cyberjammies and have never had a problem with them shrinking - I chuck them in my usual 40 degree wash. They are actually cotton/modal mix, rather than 100% cotton, but I think that makes them softer and more comfortable.

declutteringmymind · 11/09/2022 20:57

I have some from joules which are lovely. They do have non cotton ones so make sure. I don't like the designs but they get softer as you wash them.

Beebumble2 · 12/09/2022 10:59

I’ve just bought a 100% cotton pair from TU for £16, I need a new pair to go away on a hen weekend. They’re traditional styling and lovely.
