tbh, I will get whatever is on offer [cheapskate]

or BOGOF

but Sure is the best imo

florenceuk · 23/01/2008 12:08

mitchum roll-on for me - I've found it's the only one that works (maybe I've got sweatier as I've got older?) I just get whatever scent is on the shelf: at £2.79

I feckin hate sprays. They are vile, so I use those hard stick things (I'm not patient enough to wait for roll ons to dry and end up with sticky pits for the rest of the day.)

here

I use the Dove hard stick thing. It is about £1.50 and lasts for ages. You can get different smells, none of which are offensive. I have never suffered from BO with this, but then I don't think I'm a sweaty betty anyway.

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 23/01/2008 14:33

Aren't sprays a bit naff? I lump them in with these.

Dove Roll-On £1.57 or Vaseline £1.18 - effective and virtually scentless so it doesn't compete with my Cristalle.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 23/01/2008 14:37

Do they still make Impulse? No fecker ever came up to me with a bunch of flowers!

MaryAnnSingleton · 23/01/2008 14:40

Vaseline intensive care roll on - Active Fresh or Aloe Vera - nice

SheikYerbouti · 23/01/2008 14:51

Mitchum roll ojn. Doesn't smell, but packaging is a bit "old lady" imho
]
However, I have fresh-smelling and clean pits at the end of the day, so tis all for the good.

Mitchum

All tyhe other are shit in comparison

(They could have that as their strapline)

SheikYerbouti · 23/01/2008 14:52

Also, Mitchum is the only one that doesn';t make me pits sting

fishie · 23/01/2008 15:12

nivea clear here is good and does what it says
i have just bought (by mistake)this one which isn't as effective but smells nicer

sfxmum · 23/01/2008 16:02

no sprays ever

used Vaseline cream for a long time
now using

Sanex dermo intensive quite good

orangina · 23/01/2008 16:06

no sprays ever. Like Dr Hauschka roll on, no aluminium, but still works. A bit ££ though at £8

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 23/01/2008 16:06

dove invisible £1.84 smells nice and no white marke

orangina · 23/01/2008 16:07

augh, can't cut and paste web link!

NomDePlume · 23/01/2008 16:07

I hate sprays.

Yeuch

I like the Dove stick deo. Roll ons leave me feeling sticky and sprays burn my skin

Tutter · 23/01/2008 16:07

lol pit spray

you can tell you're constantly surrounded by boys

sfxmum · 23/01/2008 16:07

the Sanex here
cheap cheerful works fine no smell to fight with perfume

hermykne · 23/01/2008 16:08

mitchum - no smell and it works works works even in the sweaty'est gym session

GetOrfMoiLand · 23/01/2008 16:13

Mitchum SPRAY unscented.

Not roll on. Urgh. I use antiperspirant to avoid wet pits, not to create them.

God almighty do they still make MUM roll on?!

Can't do links and prices cos not allowed to access commercial websites whilst at work (well, actually I am not allowed to go on mumsnet to be fair but I kind of pick and chose the rules I like to follow)

NomDePlume · 23/01/2008 16:14

Rather perfect that the advert shown on this thread is for Sweaty Betty, non ?

orangina · 23/01/2008 16:15

FASCINATINGLY enough, the Dr H never leaves my pits feeling gloopy (and who would want to pay £8 for gloopy pits?)

Dropdeadfred · 23/01/2008 16:18

I love Dove original and the fresh one. They make you smell 'clean' all day and you can still smell it on yourself ifykwim

RachAndFamousNot · 23/01/2008 16:18

Mitchum is excellent. Bitchin' as DH & I call it . Both use it (separate sticks!) powder fresh or unperfumed, both brilliant. Use the solid rather than the roll on though.

TsarChasm · 23/01/2008 16:22

Bionsen. I switched to it because of all that malarky about aluminium in antiperspirants. It's ok. Seem to work quite well.

Not sure I'd trust it with my best frock. I'd use industrial strength stuff for wearing something special.
