Which one? Boden cord trench or washed velvet coat?

These two are in the sale and going in and out of stock every day.

Can't decide which one to go for? Want both!!

Does anyone own either or have any comments? Thanks!

Lots of people tried the washed velvet and returned it cos it looked tentish on...it might suit some people...that's all I know! I had same problem and went for the textured cotton, it's fab and lots of compliments

I ordered both and ended up sending both back. They were both very ordinary. Sorry not much help I know but tbh neither of them seemed to be brilliant quality either.

I wanted the washed velvet coat but eventually decided against because i thought the collar looks very childish IYSWIM. I would still love a velvet coat though and am still looking.

my trench is loverly, have seen velvet and it looks slightly antenatal.

Brill detailing on trench, good length, love it.

I sent the washed velvet one back-it was very unflattering and badly made.

I have a brown trench that I live in. It's the best coat I have ever had, just comfy yet stylish. I have had loads of compliments on it which is very unusual for me. I got it just before Christmas in the sale and I'm really pleased with it....it's just nice.

It is roomy though, maybe get a size smaller than you usually go for.

the year before they had a washed velvet trench in a gorgeous blue. I keep looking out for one on Ebay, it was the best of both worlds...

kew have a velvet trench in the new stock at £90 - in dark blue and brown I think. maybe worth a look?

Someone I know has the washed velvet in green and it looks great on her - obviously the downside of mail-order is you don't know if something that looks great on the website will actually suit you in RL!

Can't you order both then send back the one you like least? Or is there a danger you might keep both!!
