How are you managing your hair on a budget if like me you spend a fortune on it in the salon?
Anyone trying toners or glosses ar home?

I buy from e salon on line. I use half the stuff they send then the othee half next rather than use all the product at once.
Sallys also on line or shops do glossess.

I'm a cheapskate. Dye at home for £6 a box. Dry cut every 5 weeks for £15. I have very short hair

Sally’s have good products but I’m scared of messing up my hair is I do it myself

I have a wet cut. £15 and I dye it myself using Nice N Easy. People always compliment my hair so I must be doing something right. I use Garnier banana shampoo and conditioner and Shockwaves mousse. Under £10 for the lot.

depends on your hair. I have quite thick mid length/long which I dye myself for £6, once I was told what shade to use by a pro. I use a colour protecting shampoo etc. Annual trim and highlights for about £50 by a hd friend.

I keep it moisturised using a bit of conditioner which I leave in, and ogx oil, sometimes I put it in the night before I wash it next morning. I reckon I spend about £150 a year on it and get compliments.
God I sound smug sorry

Just coming to second the garnier bannana range! I use the masks too and they are great! But I don't dye my hair sorry can't help with that one...

You tube is your friend. I've learned all sorts like how to do your own highlights with foils. I dyed hair at home prior to this current cost of living crisis. Getting another person to help was far better for me (especially with bleach). I find going darker is easier to do alone without help and a wide toothed comb for combing through at end of dye application to avoid patchiness. I'm crap at beauty related stuff but I keep trying and I like learning new things and getting a little better at it each time I try.
