Where do you buy your children's clothes from?

I'm desperate to get away from Next and Adams clothing and we have no other children's stores in the locality, so online shopping is what i'm interested in. Can anyone recommend any good websites for girl's clothing, aged 3 and 5.

Just had a quick look at Pumpkin Patch which I found good, haven't got much time now but intend to have a good look this evening. Thanks for your responses so far, if there are any others you can think of......

john lewis is fab too, nice funky styles and reasonable prices, downside is not a lot of it is online, but def worth checking out in store.
boden- nice although not as good as it used to be but i still like it and the fact that i can get 'young' stuff for my 6 year old who wears age 8 clothng, whereas in next its too grown up for him.
m&s
zara
monsoon

lubyluby · 23/01/2008 07:57

oh and i like gymboree too, ships form the US and ok prices for shipping.

Miaou · 23/01/2008 08:25

Cancer Research

Seriously, do look in the charity shops - I find loads of really good stuff in there that is often hardly worn or not even worn at all! And you can usually find some "different" stuff in there too.

McDreamy · 23/01/2008 08:28

H&M
Sainsburys
Tescos
Pumpkin Patch
TK Maxx
Boden (sale only!!)
M&S
Debenhams

McDreamy · 23/01/2008 08:29

Would def look in the second hand shops and ebay. We have a local thrift shop and I have claimed some fab baragins for me and the children.

mrspnut · 23/01/2008 08:34

I like no added sugar for something different.

Lalisa · 23/01/2008 08:35

jojomamanbebe.co.uk - say all is made in europe and good for basics

mostly I buy stuff on ebay - cheaper and a much wider selection than any one store. Chartity shops would be better as prices usually better than ebay and you can see what you're getting. unfortunatly the ones near me arent any good for kids clothes.

for a real splurge we do petite bateau - very cute and well made

Hulababy · 23/01/2008 08:45

I have a 5yo DD and so many clothes in her size try to make her look like a mini tart!

Although you still have to be choosey, I have recently found nice clothes for her in:

Pumpkin Patch
M&S
Next - very hit and miss though
Mothercare - yes, I was suprised too!
Debenhams - Tigerlily is good value and decent quality I have found
SeeSaw - was very good quality
Verbaudet
Monsoon - lovely, proper girls clothes but pricey; quality can vary I have found esp on party dresses
Sainsburys - have some nice summer dresses often
Asda - for t shirts mainly
Adams - very hit and miss; but have the dd one or two items
John Lewis
House of Fraser
Gymboree - even with US postage can be good value

mustrunmore · 23/01/2008 08:56
