What does a botox practitioner need? West London

Am thinking about getting my '11s' done - they don't show when my face is motionless but I'm worried they will do eventually. And also maybe some Botox on my forehead. I don't have many wrinkles but I'd like to prevent them - is it 'baby botox' I should be looking for? Nearly 40 with oily skin that has been kind to me!

So what kind of qualifications should someone have - what should I be looking for? I'm in West London if anyone has a recommendations! And how far in advance of my birthday/holiday should I have it done?! So many questions. Thank you!

Also tempted to get my top lip filled but worry I'm going to look like I'm having a midlife crisis. I am of course but I don't want to make it obvious

You're twenty years too late to start botox

Don't go cheap, even with from a professional, it will be watered down and won't last more than a fortnight.

Re qualifications I personally wouldn't go near anyone who wasn't a doctor or dentist.

Go for a proper doctor who has turned to aesthetics, not a beautician who has ‘up skilled’. And yy to not going cheap.

I go to a brilliant place in SW London. Happy to DM you if you like.

What is baby botox??

I would only recommend a medical professional doing it- Dr, nurse, dentist etc who have done additional aesthetics training. The above have trained in anatomy beforehand, whereas as say a beautician, would not have (at least not in any real detail). I'd also check that they carry adrenaline and are trained to deal with emergencies should they arise.

I used Dr Chris Blatchley and found him very good. He runs a migraine clinic, alongside aesthetics. He used to work a few days a week at a West london clinic, but I can't find online- just the city clinic in EC3V- 10min walk from Liverpool st. Maybe ring and check whether he still does a west london clinic. Note that the clinic is inside an optometrist, which is upstairs, but the Dr has rooms downstairs.
