Cost saving home treatments

Hi,
I'm planning to start doing as many treatments at home as I (reasonably) can to save a bit of money.

First target is brows.

Any recommendations for home tinting?

The thing I love about HD brows is it picks up the tiny, blonde hairs too and doesn't dye your skin so any that particularly do those would be amazing!

I'd quite like to try lash tinting too but I wonder if that's too fiddly?

Have you considered a college beauty therapy appointment for lashes and brow tinting, as it might work out much the same as buying the dye, etc.
Also, please do remember the patch test before embarking on the treatment proper and buying a good quality dye from somewhere like Sallys. Not hard to do, just a little fiddly and personally I prefer being able to lie down and close my eyes whilst this is done, not recommended when doing your own! Eye and brow tint at our local college is £10.

I use eyelure to dye my brows. Takes about 15 mins it's really easy.

Sorry it's £6. Lasts a couple of weeks for me. You get about five goes in those boxes in my experience

I use men's beard dye for my eyebrows. Quick and easy

Thanks everyone
@TollgateDebs I absolutely would use a beauty college, used to use them a lot but there is not one nearby sadly.

@limitededitionbarbie @Superbabe64 thanks for those, have you found they don't dye the skin around the brows? (Or maybe you guys are just good at being careful!)

No it doesn't. It does go on my skin but it's never dyed it yet

Superbabe64 · 23/08/2022 10:15

I just put it on with a spooly so that it doesn't get too much on to the skin.. You might get a bit of dye on the skin but it is off with a couple of face washes. I also never do it on a day when I'm going out. Tend to do it mid-week so that it has faded a bit by the weekend.

I do my own lash perming at home. Amazon sell kits.

Im very careful with it as my dn works at the local eye hospital and I would never hear the end of it if I burnt my eye. Lash tinting can’t be that fiddly compared to perming. YouTube always has a video on things like this.
