More permanent alternative to hemming web (that isn't sewing?)

I wear scrubs for work and I'm 5ft so have to hem the trousers and the bottom of the top in order to not look like a clown 🙄

I normally use hemming web but I'm sick of having to redo it every time I wash my scrubs. I haven't got the time, patience or skill to sew them myself and don't really fancy paying for alterations, so I wondered if there was some sort of alternative to hemming web that doesn't disintegrate every time you wash or dry clothes??

Would a micro stitch gun work for you?

You want a product called Bondaweb, it comes in light and heavy duty, either will do. It comes as a small folded sheet you will need to cut into strips. It's basically a layer of glue with a paper backing. You iron it to one side, peel off paper and then iron the 2 layers together. It's pretty robust.

Staples work quite well and you end up with an interesting hem detail, Elvis style
