Hair mousse for curly hair

I've used the Aussie hair mousse for curly hair for years because it's not heavy and doesn't leave my hair crunchy but brings a little discipline to my frizzy mess.

But I can't get it anymore. Any suggestions for something inexpensive which I could ideally get in a supermarket or online?

I use curl definition creams instead of moose etc.

It works for my hair. I get mine from my hairdresser. It's not cheap (about £30 a tube) but it lasts me a year because my hair is shoulder length.

Cantu hair custard -Not a mousse but works well on my curly hair . Available in Boots and maybe Amazon, about a fiver I think for a big pot which will last ages as you only need a small amount.

I use Pantene Pro V Defined Curls Mousse. I get it from Tesco. I also use Umberto Gianni Curl jelly which is a gel.

Elnette creme de mousse

You don't need mouse for non frizzy defined curls.

Mouse tends to be drying which encourages frizz. You need to add moisture.

I tend to use Sulphate free shampoo and conditioner to wash. Then I use a conditioning hair cream and oil.

But some good suggestions for you to try are

Tigi bed head curl amplifying cream or the amplifying cream.
Cantu curl cream
Lush curl power cream and milk spray.

Another vote for Cantu

Paul Mitchell works well for me.

Vo5 have a curl defining mouse that I really like - it's often on offer

John Frieda works for me. Not hugely frizzy hair but need something that defines curls better without weighing them down.

Curly hair can be a bit of a challenge to style. It’s prone to frizziness and can be difficult to manage. However, there are plenty of curly hair styles that work for any occasion.

I find mine is better without. I use Only Curls and my curl is much more defined, tighter, and no frizz.
