How to keep clothes dry walking to the office

Planning ahead to the autumn: I am moving offices and will have a 30 min walk from the station. It's often raining - Confused our climate (westcountry) is usually very wet and windy but fairly mild temperatures.
I have a good waterproof coat but I'd welcome suggestions for what to wear to either keep my legs dry during my walk to work or that will dry quickly once I'm sat at my desk. Maybe I need a decent long coat? Or can anyone recommend regular trousers that seem fairly water resistant? I could wear waterproof over-trousers but don't really want to look like a hiker Smile
There's no dress code.

Buy a pair of waterproof trousers, got mine for £10.00 off Amazon. I used to get into work, dash into a toilet and take them off before anyone noticed (I was the only one that walked so people didn't get it!).

If it's raining really hard the rain will run down your coat and soak your trousers unless you're carrying an umbrella when you'll be okay.

Skirts don’t seem to get as wet as trousers. Easy to change tights once you’re there but I don’t find I need to.

A big wide umbrella will help

but If it’s not enough then switch to skirts or wear leggings and change.

Ok skirts will probably be the way to go, or waterproof over trousers.
Unfortunately it's usually too windy for an umbrella here

What about a dry robe? They are very long. Then skirt/dress, tights and waterproof boots.

How long is your coat? If it goes below your knees then your legs won't really get wet

Do people wear them as coats? Where I live, I only see them worn on the beach or for rugby / football parents to keep dry at the side of the pitch. It's an idea...
