Moisturiser/cream/serum for dehydrated acneic skin

I use CeraVe moisturiser but I want something a bit richer/hydrating for night sometimes. My skin looks a bit dehydrated but I break out easily and get blocked pores so can’t use oils or anything too rich or greasy. Is there anything that might fit this?!

There's neutrogena hydroboost, confusingly you'll want the one marketed at dry skin that's a gel-cream (oil free) rather than the gel one for normal to oily skin. I'm not sure if it would be enough on its own in terms of richness as it mostly adresses dehydration so I'd layer it under Cerave if you find it's not sufficient on its own but if your issue is mainly dehydration this should, in theory, do the job without making oily skin freak out.

This was recommended on here recently, so I got some and have been really impressed.

I was also finding Cerave not quite enough. I have oily but ageing skin very prone to breakouts due to hormone imbalances and have tried a lot of stuff. The only thing I don’t like is it’s fragranced.

That sounds like exactly what I am after thank you!

I have similar skin and get on well with bog standard aveeno cream, or Eucerin 5% urea face cream which feels (to me) very light and non greasy and absorbs well. Liz Earle superskin unfragranced cream is also very nice but a bit steep for what it is. My skin is dry and I don't find cerave moisturising enough and prefer to avoid hyaluronic acid generally and the cerave I have contains it.

Off to investigate the bioderma!

Thanks botemp and dontgo (what a username!) too. All fairly reasonably priced too so not a disaster if they don’t work out.
