Creaming heels

I've been living in sandals all summer, and my heels have turned into hooves, sandpaper hooves. I know I should moisturise, but when? Daytime - my sandals get all greasy and dirt sticks to my heels. Bedtime - it's far too hot to sleep in socks so my bedding gets grease stains.

How do you moisturise heels when you never wear socks?

I use flexitol or a urea based cream straight after my shower, the cream disappears by the time I go out.

Last night I liberally spread shaving foam over my feet & then shaved off the dry skin. Bit like using the foot egg cheese grater thing but more gentler & it left new skin under neath. Then I slapped on lots of flexitol, dry doing this routine regularly.

I just do it when I've got into bed at night and am not planning to get up again. If you massage the foot cream in thoroughly not only does it work better but it doesn't make a mess of the sheets. I usually bathe before bed and moisturise directly afterwards.

I just put a thin layer of the Swedish foot cream on in the morning, you can put flip flops on as you walk around the house. It should be absorbed and you shouldn’t have greasy feet.

I rub a tiny bit of Flexitol into my heels ever night as I'm getting into bed - like a 1cm squeeze on each heel. I used to have dry heels that needed filing and lots of cream to keep them from turning into hooves, now I have soft pink heels with no effort apart from the Flexitol.

I’ve abandoned flexitol for scholl cracked heels. No socks.

Urea cream 40% is very good. Not greasy at all. I use it whenever I come out of the shower.

Don't use socks. I never did. I use Scholl cream for cracked heels.

Any cream with high urea content. I use this one: Ccs it claims results in days however, I see a difference instantly. A tiny amount covers a large area and it spreads easily.
