Hi all! I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do about the start of vertical lip lines? I am 34 so a bit sad to see these beginning so young and really want to get rid of them or prevent them getting worse! I don't smoke, and looking at my mum and sister they dont really have these. I am near Manchester if anyone has recommendations of doctors for filler - just want them gone!! Many thanks for any advice!

Micro needling is great for the barcode as it's known. Combined with retinol it will help to improve the appearance of these.
Look for a reputable aesthecian / skin specialist.

I literally can't see anything. Stop worrying OP.

To be honest it's quite hard to see anything because of the markings you've added.

Do you pout or drink through straws a lot?

I can’t see anything. I don’t think you should panic, OP. Fine expression lines around lips are natural and look fine. If you were a smoker with deep smoker lines, I’d say look into a bit of filler, but I honestly don’t think you need it.

I started a thread about this a short while ago, OP (and I really DO have them whereas you have nothing to worry about!) and got no replies. I guess I’ll have to live with mine 😟

@Notarealmum If you really do want to do something about it, you need a bit of filler.
It will last anything from 6-12 months months depending on how deep they are. So it’s an expense. You’re looking at minimum £350, maybe more.

You need a skilled, experienced medically-trained practitioner, though, not a beautician.

You really can't see anything there!
