How can I improve allergic shiners, sunken under eye

I'm in my 30's and have never worn make up before. I have developed a dust allergy and at night my sinuses are blocked and I wake up with bruising under my eyes and sunken under eye like the opposite of eye bags, although some days I get swollen eye bags. I haven't managed to sort out medication as I have a family history of glaucoma which can be a side effect of the nasal medications and the antihistamine tablets make me nauseous and give me a headache. Can anyone recommend an eye cream that actually works? And a concealer suitable for wearing on its own, without foundation? I've tried a couple but found them hard to blend and it stood out too much without a foundation layer. I'd prefer skin care to make up but so far no cream I've tried has made a difference. Any other suggestions welcome, thanks.

I’ve been using beautypro under eye patches. They are reusable. After a few uses of them as they come, I then add my own treatment to them. The ordinary caffeine serum and the ordinary niacinamide serum, a few drops on each patch. They are cooling and soothing and smoothening.
I have the inkey list vitamin c eye cream too.

for the sunkeness facial excercise helps. Tones up the ring muscle underling the eye area. Check out Danielle Collins on YT she will show you a few quick toning excercises.

I looked like I’d been punched in the face before I started these things. So I sympathise.

I use touché eclat as a concealer because I’m old and wrinkly and thick concealer makes me look mad.

Thanks, I'm making a list. What difference would you say it's made for you? I hadn't thought of facial exercises that's a great idea, I didn't realise they worked.

They’ve made a very very big difference, more than I could have expected. The facial excercises are really really practical. They eye muscle is a ring muscle, like a stretchy polo mint, you can tone it up quite fast, and it doesn’t take long each day.

the eye pads aren’t something I’ve ever used before, I’m very impressed with the effects. I read that vit c, niacinamide and caffeine are good for dark circles so I focused on those. I really do wish you well.

I used to spray my bed linen with anti allergy dust mite stuff I got from a site for asthma medication.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I've started the eye exercises and bought the eye pads too so fingers crossed. Anti-dust mite spray is a good idea too, I will try that. Feel like I've got a plan now.

Good! If you can buy the ordinary caffeine and niacinamide to add to the patches and keep them going longer, it will boost your results. Good luck.
