Eyebrow improvement

I just saw a thread about microblading issues, which has entirely put me off getting it done. However I am wondering what I could have done that isn't permanent, looks natural, but just stronger looking than my own.
I already get them dyed, sometimes diy, but because they are fairly sparse on the outer part it's not as effective as I would want.
Are there techniques/procedures I could get done?
I'm not actually sure what microblading is, and whether there are similar things that don't involve tattoos.

You could just get them shaped and tinted.

Im lazy. I pluck myself to shape and use a brown shadow to fill in the sparse bits.

I have my eyebrows microbladed and I absolutely love them. I had really thin eyebrows with a couple of wee sparse patches. I don't regret it one bit. But, I'd suggest doing your research and making sure you use someone who is reputable and qualified. The woman I go to is well known and has won national awards for her microblading.
You do need to have them topped up every year or so if you want to maintain them. However, you could just leave them and they would eventually fade.

I dye mine with the box dye I use which is black, so I do my brows black when I top up my roots every month. I use a very fine eyebrow brush to do it, I paint the dye on like it's pomade and leave on for 20 mins. Been doing this years with no issues.

Thanks for the replies.
I already dye mine, but as there's not much there to dye it's not giving enough of an effect.
I was wondering if there's anything between dyeing and microblading...eg what is laminating?

I’d love a subtle micro blading on my faded little brows. Any recs in London for someone with a light hand would be much appreciated. I’m too old to go full Groucho but some definition would be nice.

Ok I just read the micro blading removal thread and noooooo. I think maybe I’ll try themaddluv stencil instead.

if you do decide to go down the tattoo route google hyper realistic brows

I've just had mine laminated, which included tinting and shaping (wax and thread). The woman I go to does nano blading as well and she's amazing, but I didn't want to go down the semi permanent route.

Lamination starts with straightening out the lashes so they can be shaped with greater precision. I'm really pleased with the results. It cost £45 and should last 6-8 weeks.

Could you explain what laminating is? Also nano blading? Are they different from tinting or tattooing?

@DelphiniumBlue

Here is an article that explains lamination and how it's different to micro blading:

Nano blading is like micro blading but with finer strokes for a more natural looking finish (I think!).

You could also try an eyebrow serum to help promote growth? I use UK Lash for my eyelashes, which has been great, although not tried their brow product.

mynameischloe · 29/07/2022 17:24

I use rapid brow. I've been using it since February and this combined with dyeing at home means I finally have thicker and fuller eyebrows. I only use a quick bit of brow mascara now and that's it. I used to have to draw them on. I would highly recommend it. It's pricey but I'm too chicken to microblade so it works for me.

PeloAddict · 29/07/2022 17:25

I had micropigmentation which is done with a single needle
