Can anyone recommend me an electric toothbrush

Not sure is this is the right place to post but looking for an electric toothbrush, personally I don't like them but my dentist has said that a manual one is partly to cause for my receding gums. So if I pay more will it be better? Any recommendations, no budget within reason.

No paying more won't be any better. My dentist said a round head is best - Oral B do these and you should be able to get one for £20-30.
Ideally the sensitive head brush heads.

I have bad receding gums (hereditary unfortunately) and I had to see a periodontist. They recommended for me to get a decent brush (I had an electric brush already but it was a few years old) so I did, and my gum measurements have stayed the same for a year now. I bought the Oral B io8. It has a sensitive gum setting too.
Honestly, pay a bit more because you'll regret it if you lose your teeth and have to pay thousands for an implant!

Same here. Receding gums from a wonky bite and over enthusiastic brushing with a manual brush.
Advised to get an electric toothbrush. I use an Oral B Pro. It has a pressure sensor and a timer that beeps to warn you to move on to the next sector of your mouth. I also floss and use interdental brushes of different sizes. At my last check up in March, the dentist was exceedingly impressed by my routine and the state of my teeth. 😇

Oh, yes. I use sensitive brush heads too.

But I'm intrigued by this "sensitive gum setting". Off to Google.
