Have anyone tried modibody knickers and do you rate? I am tempted to try but a bit worried as discovered them due to an add and well sometimes that can go very wrong :)

Yes i have a number of different period knickers brands and modibodi are the best.

WhatTheWhoTheWhatThe · 23/07/2022 21:45

Yes I use them pricey but worth it

RedLemonade · 23/07/2022 21:47

I use them and love them. I find the ones with the lace edges better if VPL is something you’re bothered about. The big Bridget Jones ones are great for night time- so comfy!

I tend to have moderately heavy flow in first few days then quite light. Would never really have been one for soaking through tampons/pads so not sure how they rate for very heavy flow but I find them brilliant.

For reference I’ve used disposable pads, tampons, then moon cup and cheeky reusable pads in past but find Modibodi best all round.

I prefer Uniqlo (two for 30, they are sized slightly small). I have found the Modibidy have gone a bit baggy even though I’ve followed the care instructions.

I Wear Dorina period pants and they are comfortable and reliable

Mookie81 · 23/07/2022 21:48

They're amazing.
I use the maxi/24 hr ones when I'm heavy and nothing escapes.

Youcansaythatagainandagain · 23/07/2022 22:42

I use them. Due to heavy periods, I wear them with a sanitary towel. I was wearing jeans one day, and still left a stain on the car seat. I have the moderate to heavy flow ones. I wouldn't say they are amazing but with a heavy flow, nothing is great.

greenacrylicpaint · 23/07/2022 22:47

I second the uniqlo ones. they keep their ahape well and are high enough at the front.

Honaloulou · 23/07/2022 22:50

Yes, and they're bloody (sorry) amazing.

I also have Cheeky Wipes ones, and Modibodi are far softer and comfier.

My favourite are their underbump maternity ones - I'm not pregnant, but I don't like things round my tummy when I have period pain.

AlwaysColdHands · 23/07/2022 22:51

They don’t seems to cope with a sudden/ fast flow as much as I’d hoped. I have a couple of pairs of Thinx I picked up in Boots which feel sturdier to me for those times.
love the modibodi seamless range though.

I still use tampons for a day or two a month, but no longer sanitary towels thanks to period pants, which is a big relief.

Enko · 23/07/2022 23:10

I have taken the chance and ordered 2 to try out :) thank you all.

Love mine. I buy the most robust ones as j tend to have quite heavy flow in beginning, with quite a lot of flooding and they are amazing. On v bad days I might need to change them mid way through the day but usually do 12 hours at a time, with no leakage and amazing comfort.

I also have cheapo Love Luna ones that are definitely less good but I wear those from about day 4 when it's very light and spotty. Means I don't need as many modi bodi and they will last longer as I don't need to wash them as often.

Throughtheroof · 24/07/2022 06:30

Why do they make maternity period pants? 🤔

Footle · 24/07/2022 06:33

@Throughtheroof , presumably for women who've recently given birth.

Throughtheroof · 24/07/2022 06:35

👍 thanks! It's early in the morning, my brain is not functioning.
