Wedding outfit - suitable/which one

I'm going to a wedding on saturday at a hotel and am wondering about these two outfits which i already have. I had bought a long floral dress but when I took a photo at home realised it was not particularly flattering and made me look bigger so it's going back

Would welcome opinions on whether suitable. As well as these shoes I have nude heels or orange medium heel sandals (which obvs won't go with the yellow!)

The red dress is very cute and definitely a good backup - but wow the yellow!!! If I saw someone wearing that at a wedding I'd be so jealous, it looks incredible. Fab colour / style and looks really flattering.

I love the orange dress but it is the sort of dress I would wear for work (where's it from btw?) Jumpsuit is more weddingy I think. I think the orange sandals would look great though, can you show us a photo of the jumpsuit with the shoes?

LadyOfTheCanyon · 20/07/2022 22:19

You'd have to bloat A LOT for that to look uncomfortably tight ( not saying it's not possible going by my own cycle) - it looks fabulous . Why can I never find anything that good in charity shops? < sulks>

They are both lovely, but whatever is most comfortable on the day!

imnotthatkindofmum · 20/07/2022 22:24

Yellow and I absolutely would wear orange shoes with it 🤷🏻‍♀️

NoodleDoodleDo · 20/07/2022 22:24

This is the jumpsuit with orange sandals. Excuse the weird position I seem to be standing in!

Yellow absolutely lovely.
The dress is something to wear to the office

BiscuitTinClarabel · 20/07/2022 22:47

Love the yellow jumpsuit, prefer the nude shoes - I don't think the ankle strap works well with the trouser length, whereas the sling backs are really flattering. Great outfit - you are going to look fab! Plus the dress is really pretty as a back up if you aren't feeling it on the day.

BeaLola · 20/07/2022 22:52

The dress is ok as back up but like many others on this thread I think the yellow is fab but with original shoes not the orange sandals.

Campervangirl · 20/07/2022 23:05

Yellow with the nude shoes, you could always get a bright patterned clutch bag to break it up but I love the yellow.
Or a rattan / wicker clutch

NoodleDoodleDo · 20/07/2022 23:21

Good idea campervangirl. I do have a patterned clutch but it is peacock feather design so may be too dark.

This is more of a pouch than a clutch but is mice with the bit of yellow. I also have a JL voucher to use!

Yellow with the nude shoes for definite. You look fab!
I also think the JL clutch would go well

bluegardenflowers · 21/07/2022 03:17

The yellow looks best but the block colour draws attention to your generous bust and looks a little square to me. The red dress is also nice and the bust are looks softer and less in your face, but the overall impact not so good as the yellow. Maybe the yellow style in a pattern to soften it? It does look nice though.

AppleCharlottie · 21/07/2022 03:33

I actually prefer the orange dress but agree it's more everyday wear.
I'd love to see a picture of the long floral dress you bought too...

Ameanstreakamilewide · 21/07/2022 08:32

I like your fireplace.

And I prefer the jumpsuit.

BasiliskStare · 21/07/2022 08:58

I think the yellow looks fabulous but & would go for the nude shoes.

I do think the pale orange fascinator is a little large on you and obscures your face too much - other than that - you are all set 😊
