Thermavein treatment

Is anyone who has had thermavein treatment on their face willing to share their experience and also give a rough idea of what they paid?

I'm seriously considering this for the thread veins on both cheeks and side of my nose. I have rosacea and despite treatment for it, the veins don't go away.

Write a time line of events, if you decide to take legal action later it will be very useful.

I've had it a few time. Works really well, but the veins do come back. I would say it's worth the money (£200 for 2 treatments in my case).

So sorry, should have rtwt. Hope you are ok.

Hope you're okay and that the hospital was able to help @1569leanne💐

I've had Thermavein. I paid £200 for the first session and another £70 for follow up. It worked fine., didn't have any problems. The redness takes a while to go down afterwards and the scabs take a couple of weeks to heal. I'd say it was maybe 3 weeks before my face looked back to normal after each treatment. I also got cold sores in the area treated the second time, which didn't massively surprise me as I am very prone to them. It was still worth it. I'd probably have a top up at some point as I'm sure I will get new veins as time goes on.

The hospital consultant said it looks like necrosis and said some is puss filled and there are hard lumps under the scabs.
she gave me antibiotics to take 4 times a day, she told me to take them through the night too for 7 days.
I e got to go back into hospital to see her if it doesn’t improve in 48 hours

Good grief. Is the salon insured?

Hi I know it's a year later but I'm just wondering if your skin settled down after the treatment? I'm due to get it tomorrow but I'm a bit nervous noe after reading some of the reviews.

I had Thermavein treatment and I now have holes in my noise.
Whether it is just the machine or the person who did it is at fault I'm not sure.
I had red vein treatment years ago and it worked well, but I definitely
wouldn't have Thermavein again. I think she overdid it.

Same thing happened to me on my nose and cheeks, ended up in A&E with burns to my face, very painful and caused permanent scarring.
I don’t recommend it to anyone!
