Why can't I find an ankle length raincoat?

I do realise they're not stylish but I walk to work and when it's pissing down I get wet trousers. I want a large plastic ankle length mac like my Granny used to have. My desire to be dry is far greater than my desire to be stylish.

I think I could get on board with the shoulder flaps.

I was going to suggest Drizabone too. Any of the equestrian makes will have something in their range described as a full length riding coat. DH has had a Toggi one for 20 years and it is ankle length on me. I use it when I need a full cover up for a short walk in heavy rain.
