Which M&S wireless bra is best for big boobs?

Ritascornershop · 10/07/2022 13:35

I do only want M&S. They have a big selection and as I’m not in the UK (but they have a site for my country) I cannot be arsed to look at a dozen other sites.

I would love a wireless bra! Something that breathes as I get really sweaty with my existing wired T-shirt bras. I’m a 34 or 36 E or DD (depending on the bra). Small frame, big boobs.

Anyone have a favourite from M&S they can recommend? I want no mono-boob, lifting, and breathable fabric. Bring on the reviews! 😊

I tried both the lace bralette and the flexifit bralette recommended on here this week in a 32G and was sorely disappointed. The sizing was correct (I'm an ex bra fitter so confident in that), but the shape and support were awful in both of them. They were only surpassed by the flexifit sleep bra that everyone was raving about on here a while ago, looked ok when I first put it on, but after a couple of hours I may as well have been wearing nothing whatsoever for all the support it gave.

I'd love to be able to buy bras in M&S due to the price and convenience, but I just don't find them up to the job.

Rollerbird · 15/07/2022 10:57

i bought a flexifit yesterday and am wearing it today - so far so good - its really comfortable !

thenightsky · 15/07/2022 12:40

I've got loads of total support ones like this... www.marksandspencer.com/total-support-embroidered-full-cup-bra-b-g/p/clp20032770?color=CREAM&prevPage=srp

They last ages and wash well. I'm a 34E.

MumOfNowGrownupKids · 15/07/2022 13:08

38G. Wearing this at the moment. Most comfortable bra I've ever worn.

I wear this when I'm going out. Not quite as comfy, but pretty good, and better shape.

I recently got the 3-pack of non-wired t-shirt bras in navy, black and pale pink, I’m the same size as you and they work really well for me.

I found them to wash really “oosy” (fluff sticks to them) and they also turn sort of inside out leaving a strange ridge. I’m not impressed. I can’t agree with this recommendation. I’m principal they should have rocked every box but in reality they are poor.

TiredyMcTired · 21/07/2022 18:36

I bought a couple of the non wired lace bralettes in a recommendation, fitted great at first but the band ended up digging in and I had a mono boob. Haven’t worn them in ages as too uncomfortable (I’m a 34g)
But I recently bought a flexifit bra and it is so comfortable, I’m definitely going to get more.
I know M&S usually get a bashing for bra fit etc, but I’ve always found them fine. Went to a Bravissimo shop last year for the first time and had a fitting. Came away with a bra that I wore for less than a day as the wires at the sides dug into me so badly my skin was bleeding. Took the bra back and don’t intend to ever go there again.

RB68 · 21/07/2022 18:44

is it only me that did a double take thinking bluetooth bras ...

Lndnmummy · 21/07/2022 20:06

Im a 34FF and flexifit is monoboob for me. And not breathable so gave me a rash. The search continues.

userxx · 21/07/2022 21:28

I've got a fitting tomorrow, do I go braless with a fitted vest top or do I have to get naked up top ?

JaceLancs · 21/07/2022 23:48

I feel M n S sizing is getting even worse!
Ordered this bra in 3 different sizes 40E, 42DD and 42E
the band on the 42E was the smallest of the 3 and unstretched actually measures 30 inches
the others measured 31 and 32 inches
my underbust measurement using boob or bust is 39 due to weight gain

I agree re sizing. I went into an actual shop the other day and tried on my usual 34E. Was massive round the ribs, so I thought I'd size down to a 32 F. Wouldn't even meet to fasten on the nearest hooks! I tried on everything that looked a reasonable shape in 34F, 34FF, 34G, then 32F, 32FF and 32G and 32GG. Nothing fitted well enough to wear under a t-shirt.

Agree. I have an M&S lace bralette for DD+ and it was ok the first time I wore it, but has since been relegated to strictly indoors- only. I'm small-chested too (28DD) so it's not like it had a lot of lifting to be doing.
Also agree the flexifit looks monoboob in the photos of the model. I'd want more separation and lift than that, but know others won't.

LoversLane · 24/07/2022 08:30

M&S sizing is horrendous. I am 32H and have found a couple of M&S wireless bras I like. However, as soon as I try to get the same bra in a different colour the sizing is completely different so I can't. How can there be such poor quality control about the same item!!

AnotherEmma · 24/07/2022 08:38

Paddingtonthebear · 10/07/2022 23:19

Have you def got the right size? Only asking as I used to think i was 34 or 36 D or E and it turns out I’m 32G.

This. "Small frame, big boobs" is very unlikely to be 34E/36DD. Try Boob or Bust as a starting point.

You need to get the size right first or no bra will fit properly.

Are you willing to tell us which country you're in so we can advise on alternatives to M&S?

AnotherEmma · 24/07/2022 08:44

Btw, I recommend the Sugar Candy non wired bra. For those of you in the UK, Bravissimo sells it. But you can find it elsewhere online.

Knittingnanny2 · 24/07/2022 11:05

In practice I’m same size as you and wear either 34E or 36DD. In theory I should be 32 band but can’t do it up
I swapped for those total support non wired bras linked earlier for a few months and whilst they seemed to hoik me up well, I felt that my side boob was escaping towards my armpits because of the lack of wire.
I’ve gone back to the m and s full cup un padded embroidered ones now in a variety of colours and wearing mainly 34 E
I did experiment with taking the wires out of an old one to see what it fitted like. It was ok so maybe try that with one of your old wired bras? The wire I took out was imprinted with 32F/34E/36DD.

Knittingnanny2 · 24/07/2022 11:08

Ps I’ve also found through trial error, that one piece stretchy cups are not supportive enough, they don’t seem to contain and control my boobs. I go for cups constructed from a few pieces and seamed, even if they tend to show under some clothes a bit

Bunty55 · 24/07/2022 11:14

I always suspect threads like these when the OP insists on only wanting M&S ... especially when the items are not the best ?

Hmmm

sonjadog · 24/07/2022 11:14

I have a couple of these: www.marksandspencer.com/cotton-and-lace-non-wired-total-support-bra-b-h-/p/clp60505907?color=WHITE

Very comfortable and they keep my boobs firmly in place. The downside is that they give me a bit of a monoboob, but that doesn't really matter most of the time as I wear a lot of dungarees or am just at home. I have a couple of wired bras for occasions where I am concerned about the shape of my boobs under my clothes.

Carrick27 · 21/08/2022 10:11

I wouldn’t wear M&S after getting non wired support bras in asda. They are brilliant. Fit perfect and good support. Come in packs of two. Online or in store. Highly recommend.

mumof2fromstafford · 14/03/2023 16:04

This is my new go to bralette, I'm a 34F (size 12 top) and wear a M-L, is not a wonder bra but it's surprisingly supportive and so comfy! loung-erie.com<a class="break-all" href="https://loung-erie.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Loung-erie
