I’m 44 and I’d really like to learn to do good make-up for myself. How can I go about learning this in an easy way? thank you 🙏

YouTube is the place to be… according to my make up obsessed 22 year old niece anyway 🙃

Any of her videos are great

DimplesToadfoot · 09/07/2022 22:33

YouTube?

Robert Welsh and Alexandra Anele are the 2 I watched all through lockdown among many others but these 2 stuck with me

You need to follow Andreea Ali on either Instagram or YouTube. Her instagram handle is aliandreeamakeup, She is a professional make up artist from Paris and does the most amazing tutorials. She helps to recommend products and shows you how to use them. There's a range of looks from the more high fashion stuff to every day "normal" make up. I think she is great and I've learnt a lot about make up application just watching her instagram and YouTube videos. For context I'm 39, so it's definitely for everyone.

47 and I got lessons from a lovely lady called Rita - Make Up Dr U.K.

had various lessons and worth every penny. I now have right colours etc and know what to do with stuff. So much more confident. :)

Private make up lesson could be good, get a personal recommendation though.

Lisa Eldridge and Katie Jane Hughes are also great.

It depends - what do you do now?

I have a 5 minute face that i do every day for a fresh polished look and slightly longer for an event.

Or do you mean you want to be able to recreate a flawless look and a cut in eye that can take an hour or so?

I like the Bobbie brown tutorial explains an everyday look she does on the train into work.

Lisa Eldridge is good too.
