Primark anti chafe shorts

Anyone tried them? I got a pair yesterday for our holiday abroad later in the year as they were only £3.50 - they look like thick American tan tights with the legs cut off. I’m sceptical but at that price I thought I’d try them. Only problem is the weather here doesn’t allow me to try them in the heat.

I don't shop at Primark. I don't like people dying and sweat shops and won't help fast fashion.

Your views on Primark are duly noted.

You could try Snug chub rub shorts - they have cooling varieties and they genuinely are cooling. No idea how.

The Primark ones say they’re cooling too, so I wondered if anyone had tried them.

I have some. They are pretty good but I don’t have the other brands to compare. Didn’t feel too hot under the dress I was wearing

Snag tights chub rub shorts 100000% better than the primark ones. I found after one wash that the primark ones start to roll up whereas the others didn't.

I avoid Snag but that’s interesting they start to roll up.

I found the Sainsburys ones that are cotton, not tights material, did best at not rolling up and feeling cool. They’re quite cheap, too.

Sloggi long leg cotton underwear are the best I’ve tried. I haven’t tried primark but I have tried snag and thought they were horrible

Oh good shout re Sainsburys and Sloggis - didn’t realise they did them

This doesn’t answer your question re Primark but I got these Amazon ones and they are great. Not nearly as long as in the photo, more like men’s jersey trunk style boxers. I’m a 10/12 and M is a perfect fit.

I just usually wear cycling shorts are the anti chafe ones better?

I don’t know @Misstes I was just tempted by their cooling claim (and price). @Workyticket let me know how you get on with the Primark ones!

I wore the Primark ones under a dress that really hot day a couple of weeks back when it was 30 degrees plus and didn't feel too hot at all. They def work against the rub too - I did 25,000 steps walking around London yesterday and my feet have both got blisters but my thighs are fine!

I wear Popsy ones when I'm dancing. Much better than Snag (snag tights are fab) and not hot at all

I use sloggi too, the cotton is better than the tights material for keeping cool

I've just used good old Vaseline - and no chub rub all day on a 20,000 step walk.

Can you link the Sainsburys ones?
