If I were you I would not remake this style in another colour. I think people are trying yo be kind but I don't think you should waste your time and talent on it - find a new pattern! Jumpers are more modern than cardigans. A crocheted jumper would be lovely

I am over fifty and I think it is awful I don't do brown...wouldn't wear it due to looking too old...

But my DD aged sixteen has just been in to look at it and she thinks it is lovely and would wear it definitely (but not brown).

Info on type of yarn might help.

I love crocheted cardies, but I think this style is very dated. I had one similar around 10/15 years ago.
I'm looking to make a cardie myself!

I love it. I wear a lot of vintage so would wear it with 70s type pieces.

I like the shape and love the ribbed edging. I've done that edging on a bolero I crocheted a few years ago. It suits you Do you have a link to the pattern please?

I like the style, but personally not keen on the colour pairing, I would prefer either one colour or two colours that (to my eye) belong better together.

I assure you I am not trying to be kind. I would genuinely wear this in a different colour.
